Frequently Asked Questions

Apr 1, 2008

Why "Housebaked"?

No reason really. The name popped to my head upon the creation of the page and is perhaps the most confusing part of this website.

May I copy an article or any of the content found on this website?

The short answer is no unless you obtain my permission. Review my copying policy for further information.

Can I contribute to Housebaked?

Sure. If you have anything to contribute whether it being a suggestion, article, review or a tutorial it will be greatly appreciated. You do also receive credit for your submissions as well as a link back to your website - should you have one.

Is there any other way of affiliating with Housebaked?

Currently no, but I am definitely working on it.

Why is this site hosted on a free host?

I'm a student and am not eligible for a credit card. Due to this Housebaked is freely hosted and unfortunately domain-less at the moment, but there are plans in action for changing that in the near future.

What do you mean by "rig" and "virtualbox"?

Rig refers to the hardware or "system setup" used for the installation of software. In most of the cases for Linux distributions. The rig can either be "PC" or "VirtualBox" with PC being the physical hardware and VirtualBox being a virtual machine running on-top of another OS. The reason I present this information is in case I state any difficulties I had with the product in my review that you know on which hardware it ran.

For more information on VirtualBox visit their website.
